Academic

Academic research, public lectures, and scholarly engagement in classical Jingfang (经方) medicine.

Academic Focus

My academic work centers on the study, interpretation, and clinical transmission of classical Jingfang (经方) medicine, with an emphasis on clear theoretical structure and clinically grounded reasoning.

Rather than approaching Jingfang as a collection of isolated prescriptions, my research focuses on its internal diagnostic logic, formula classification, and structured clinical decision-making. This work integrates close reading of classical sources with long-term clinical observation and verification.

The Jingfang System

My approach presents Jingfang as a coherent and internally consistent medical system, encompassing pattern differentiation, formula families, and structured treatment strategy. This includes clinical methodology— such as diagnostic structure and treatment follow-through—as well as careful scholarly articulation for cross-cultural understanding and international academic audiences.
